Activities & Camp Lead (Summer)

In this role, you will serve as a leader for front line guest camp and kids club staff.  In the absence of the Supervisor, you will oversee vital roles in the delivery of all guest activities, Panokids camps and staff supervision.  You will ensure all activities and camps are planned, organized and delivered, creating exceptional guest experiences.  This is an outdoor position, and you will be expected to be outside daily.

Essential Functions:

• Plan & deliver camp programs for our Panokids summer camps ages 3yrs to 12yrs.

• Work the climbing wall, euro-bungy, Paradice Mining in the Discovery Zone.

• Ability to lead by example and be a mentor to all camps and activities staff.
• Oversee daily operations in the absence of the camps & activities supervisor/manger.
• Responsible for conducting daily safety checks on all resort activity’s equipment. 

• Responsible for ensuring all staff complete all daily safety inspections.
• Ensuring all staff are following the correct safety measures to create a safe environment for both resort guests and staff.

• Possess an extensive knowledge of activities, resort amenities and third-party operations.
• Provide ongoing communication between shifts, with the activities and camps manager, staff, and other resort departments. 
• Accountable for dept. area daily maintenance of equipment.

Experience/Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or lead experience.

• Experience working with children 3yrs – 12yrs in an outdoor environment preferred.
• Day camp/ summer camp experience preferred.
• Experience working in the tourism industry in a guest service role helpful.
• Water safety knowledge and basic first aid helpful.
• Any first aid training helpful
• Programs require physical versatility.
• Cleared criminal records check.
