You were made to save animals, we take care of the rest.

Located in beautiful Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Petworks Veterinary Hospital is the longest standing holistic veterinary medicine service in the Halifax Regional Municipality. Nicknamed as the “City of Lakes” due to the 23 lakes that can be found within its borders, our team is proud to call Dartmouth home, and to play an important role in the lives of its pet-passionate residents. Our friendly and welcoming people, combined with the picturesque natural landscapes around, provide us with plenty of inspiration and recreational opportunities.

Petworks has been an established part of our community for over 20 years with a focus on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) including Acupuncture and Chinese herbals, and Canine Rehabilitation. In addition to the aforementioned areas of focus, we offer a wide array of services such as Chiropractic care, Bowen therapy, hydrotherapy, underwater treadmill therapy, massage therapy, low-level laser therapy, neuromuscular stimulation, in depth nutritional consultations (whole food for cats and dogs), and so much more! We can provide guidance on unique approaches to typical pet health care issues.

We are currently looking for a rehabilitation trained Veterinarian (CCRT or CCRP) who'd be interested in sharing their passion for alternative pet care. In this clinic, there is no obligation to do surgery nor wellness exams, as we focus on integrating holistic health principles with the excellent care provided by conventional veterinarians. Come join our 3 DVMs who, with the help of a dedicated, professional and experienced support team of 7 incredible people (including 2 technicians certified in rehabilitation and a 3rd in training) take their commitment to animals, owners and the pet community seriously. We deliver high-quality, unique services to enhance and go beyond conventional veterinary care.

The right candidate will enjoy a one-of-a-kind working environment, as well as a great clientele and a fully equipped facility.
