•    Daily ensure all inbound material RM/PK is verified, matches what was expected, and is accurately entered into the system.
•    The shipping clerk will direct carriers to appropriate doors for offloading.
•    The dock material handler will verify quantity of full pallets and cases of partials, off the truck, and stage in Rec dock or cooler, and start a trailer inspection form
•    The shipping clerk will take the paper work and place in the “in box” for the receivers to work on based on FIFO basis.
•    The receivers will take the oldest inbound paperwork and start the process by looking for the applicable P.O. in the system
•    The receiver will take the details on the paperwork that came with the physical load, and compare them to the details in the P.O., and finally will walk out to the material to verify it physically matches both the P.O. and the inbound paperwork. If there is any discrepancy, S&OP, QA, and Supervisor will be notified.
•    If no discrepancy and all the relevant information to receive is provided, then the process will start.
•    Training on the process of entering all of the data in the system will be provided.
•    Once the process is complete, the labels are printed and applied, then the package is handed to QA for quality release, and the process starts all over again with the next receipt.
•    When receiving is not busy, the supervisor may assign other duties, accordingly, this can include picking/put away/offloading etc.

•    Grade 12 education required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
•    A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a receiver in a production or manufacturing environment (preferably in the Food Manufacturing industry).
•    Proficient computer skills
•    Must be a certified Raymond Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Operator.
•    Ability to participate in a multi-functional, team-based environment.
•    Strong oral and written communication, problem solving and decision making skills.
