Agriculture Set Up Technician (shift work)- Swift Current

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for multiple Agriculture Set Up/Service Technicians to join our fast-paced, energetic, 'state of the art' dealership in Swift Current, SK.

These roles are newly structured for the organization and are planned to be worked within a rotational 2 shift structure, shifts may rotate with the potential morning shift being a 5:00 am - 3:30 pm shift and the afternoon shift being a 1:30 pm-12:00 am (with in the shift structure there may be options that include a 10-hours per day with 8 shifts on and 6 shifts off in a 2 week structure OR 10-hours per day 4 shifts per week).

You’ll assemble, service and as needed perform repair to all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership. Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities will include: 

• Assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership
• Performs pre-delivery inspection on all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership
• Assists in repairs on all types of equipment, as required
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process
• Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer or for demonstration purposes
• Operates a forklift to transport parts, equipment and supplies for the service department 

Requirements

This would be an ideal position if you have:

• The ability to operate vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes
• The ability to assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions
• The ability to use department programs and basic computer functions
• The ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends and holidays, if necessary
• A High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• A fundamental understanding of equipment operation
• a basic mechanical skill set
• Farming background/experience would be considered an asset
