Position Summary:

 

Reporting to the Manager, Talent & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and hiring quality candidates for Haventree Bank. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding talent using various channels and is involved in building a robust talent pipeline. This role also supports the Talent & Culture team as needed. 

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead full cycle recruitment for Haventree Bank which includes sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify recruitment needs, create talent profiles and develop a talent acquisition plan to attract top talent and fill vacancies.
  • Coach hiring managers on standard recruitment processes and interview best practices.
  • Identify gaps by assessing current processes and making recommendations for continuous improvements based on industry trends.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and establish metrics to measure KPIs, provide insights into trends and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Establish relationships with external partners including job boards, associations, and local communities to broaden & diversify our talent pool.
  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives and projects.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related field is required.

 

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

 

  • The position requires at least 3-5 years recruitment experience, preferably with financial industry and information technology recruitment experience.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferably Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Proficient in MS Office and shows an ability to pick up software easily: Ceridian Dayforce, Microsoft SharePoint, Office 365 etc.
  • Ability to build connections with candidates, build strong relationships with hiring managers and ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience working in HR is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English/French) with strong French language skills (both written and verbal) is an asset.
