The Posting Station Clerk is responsible for supporting the Cambridge Shipping/Receiving department to accomplish assigned objectives applicable to the shipping and receiving functions.  This person is also responsible for results directly tied to logistical operations including, but not limited to: efficiency, timeliness, safety, process improvement, and quality.



  • Rate and post orders

  • Process online website scheduling and web forms

  • Process Home Depot manifest

  • Update fuel surcharge on a weekly basis

  • Call carriers to arrange for daily pickups

  • File on an as-needed basis

  • Pull picks to resolve back up issues

  • Research Postal Codes for Courier Station when it is incorrect on a pick

  • Other duties will be included based on business needs



  • High School Diploma is required

  • 3 years minimum of shipping/receiving experience

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form clearly

  • Proficient in standard business office software, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity of ERP is required

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic RF gun and system software issues is preferred 


Physical Demands:

  • Sit or stand, as needed, and walk primarily on a level surface throughout the day

  • Reach above shoulder height, below the waist, or lift as needed to file documents or store materials (up to 50 pounds) throughout the work day using proper lifting techniques


Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, and often stressful, work environment

  • Regular operating hours, with the possibility of extra hours as needed on tight project deadlines
